California Launches Statewide Alliance to Establish Federally Co-Funded Hydrogen Hub   

On Thursday, October 6, 2022, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), the University of California Office of the President (UCOP), Labor, Renewables 100 Policy Institute, with state and local officials, formally launched the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES). Renewables 100 has been been working as part of the ARCHES team for the past several months to create the foundational framework of this exciting endeavor, which holds a critical key to unlocking renewable energy’s full potential to decarbonize all energy end uses, while also developing best practices for environmental protection, equity, and environmental justice.
